What’s a Blend?

A blend combines multiple complementary shades instead of one flat tone. A 3-blend, for example, mixes three tones that flow together seamlessly, from soft roots to bright mids and light ends, creating natural movement, depth, and dimension.

How the Hair Is Colored

Each piece is carefully hand-colored and slowly dyed, never textile dyed. This meticulous process allows the color to develop naturally, creating balanced tones, realistic depth, and lasting vibrancy, all while keeping the hair healthy and silky.

Fully Integrated Blend

All tones are fully mixed throughout the hair for a seamless, even finish. The color flows naturally from root to end with no distinguished dimension, creating a soft, uniform look that feels effortlessly natural.

Not Fully Integrated Blend

This blend features more visible transitions, showcasing distinct highlights and lowlights that add contrast and depth. It offers noticeable distinction while maintaining a natural flow from root to end. 

The exact level of blend (such as 60%) will be specified in each description, but in general, a “not fully integrated” blend is designed to give more distinction.

POROSITY

Porosity is the hair’s ability to absorb and release water and product.

• Low: Cuticles lie tight and compact. Hair repels water at first, takes longer to saturate, and dries slowly on the inside while the surface can look smooth. Think softer, smoother hair, low frizz, less texture.
• High: Cuticles are more open. Hair soaks up water fast and also loses moisture quickly. It can feel airy, expand in humidity, and dry faster at the surface. More space between strands, the hair takes up more visual space but isn’t reflected when weighed (less grams look like more)

COARSENESS

Coarseness describes the diameter of each strand, not the overall density.

• Fine: Smaller strand diameter, often more strands per gram. Creates a silky, veil-like fall.

• Coarse: Larger strand diameter, often fewer strands per gram. Creates more visual “space” between hairs, which reads as fullness.

NOTE:

All ponytails are final sale. No refunds or transfers. Natural variation in tone and texture is expected. Minor initial shedding can occur after cutting strips or trimming bonds. Handle and store with care, as you would any premium single-donor hair.
