About the Hair

Our vision is simple. Beautiful ktip transformations and healthy hair go hand in hand. We honor texture and origin, maintain full chain of custody, and keep every ponytail intact from the donor to our haus with no intermediaries. Ester personally selects each tail, then cleans and prepares it so you can work immediately.

You can stock bulk or hand-bonded. Every tail is single donor, Slavic in origin, and 100% natural texture.

HBEHOH hair:

Single donor Slavic ponytails with cuticle intact and aligned.

-Natural textures only. No steam processing, perms, acid baths, silicone coating. What you see is the real deal that, with textures that return after every wash. -Bonded by hand In Haus! No standard machine bonding here.

-Strip format: wide and short keratin saturation that fully encapsulate the bio hair for small seamless bonds that stay comfortable and do not need to be manipulated.Healthy hair is our first principle. Every single donor ponytail is bonded by hand and is designed to be custom cut to the exact section size you need. By cutting each strip to your client’s custom bio section, you ensure balanced weight distribution, and correct keratin saturation ratio with NO manipulation and adjustments required. Because each ktip will now have space between individual strands, you will not need to carve out density with razors and texturizing shears to create movement.

Whether it’s virgin, colored, children’s hair, blended options: all of our pony’s are 100% natural texture. The hair will always revert back to their natural texture after washing. All hair can be heat-styled, washed and treated like living breathing hair. Our pony’s can also be colored, but only virgin hair should be bleached and lightened for predictable results.

Factory Hair:

-Pre-bonded by machine at approximately 0.8–1.0 grams per strand, which is too heavy for a single bio section unless manipulated further and customized by the stylist.

-Keratin tips are long and narrow; when cut down and made smaller, there is not enough keratin to fully encapsulate and seal the bio hair.

-Factory hair is pooled from hundreds to thousands of donors, including mixed donor hair, fallen hair, and hair collected from drain traps.

-The hair is stripped and acid washed, which removes the cuticle.

-A silicone coating is applied so the hair feels soft and silky out of the package. The coating washes off within a few wears and washes, and quality declines quickly.

-Factory stock lacks natural texture variation.

-Strands are packed too tightly, which causes bonds to cluster and creates visible separation between attachments.

-On the head, the result reads like “noodles.” It does not move like natural hair.

• Virgin or colored status is clearly indicated on each ponytail.

• Bonded by hand in haus.

• All textures are 100 percent natural.

• Individuals (K tips): typical bond weight is 0.3 to 0.4 grams per strand.

Individuals are packed as 25 strands per bundle.

• Ethically sourced

• Strips: pre bonded strips allow custom sizing; cut down to density match

• Bulk ponytails are available for full custom builds.

How We Classify Hair

Porosity is the hair’s ability to absorb and release water and product.

• Low porosity

Cuticles lie tight and compact. Hair repels water at first, takes longer to saturate, and dries slowly on the inside while the surface can look smooth. Think softer, smoother hair, low frizz, less texture.

• High porosity

Cuticles are more open. Hair soaks up water fast and also loses moisture quickly. It can feel airy, expand in humidity, and dry faster at the surface. More space between strands, the hair takes up more visual space but isn’t reflected when weighed (less grams look like more)

Why it matters for extensions:

Porosity determines how hair drinks and releases water. High porosity hair absorbs quickly, swells in humidity, and dries fast (think textured hair with an attitude problem; the more you mess with it, the bigger it gets)

Low porosity hair resists water, dries slowly, and reflects light like glass when smooth. You will see our virgin blonde slavic tails as generally low porosity, the strands of hair are packed closely together and the hair generally is not prone to frizz. Neither is better. They simply behave differently.

Fine hair floats and catches light easily. Coarse hair holds shape and presence. Curl patterns tighten with moisture and relax with tension and heat. This is why true texture looks alive.

Coarseness

Coarseness describes the diameter of each strand, not the overall density.

• Fine

Smaller strand diameter, often more strands per gram. Creates a silky, veil-like fall.

 • Coarse

Larger strand diameter, often fewer strands per gram. Creates more visual “space” between hairs, which reads as fullness.

Why we sometimes choose coarser hair for low-density clients:

Coarser strands create micro-gaps between hairs that scatter light and inflate the silhouette. This increases the perception of density without adding unsafe weight. We use this deliberately for texture manipulation when clients want more presence with minimal styling.

What to Expect: Natural Variation

All ponytails are photographed and listed after being washed and air-dried. Color, undertone, and texture has been established subjectively and may read slightly differently on screen and in different lighting. Natural hair has nuance. That nuance is what makes your install believable.

 What is virgin hair?

Virgin hair is hair cut from a donor that has never been altered by chemical services. The cuticle is intact and aligned from root to tip, and the natural tone and texture are unchanged.
