Is each ponytail really 1-of-1?

Yes. One donor, and once she cuts and sells it to us, we can never get it again until that donor grows it out and sells it to us again in 3-5 years.

What is virgin hair? 

Hair that has never been chemically colored or processed. Cuticles are intact and aligned, which preserves shine, movement, and longevity.

What does ethically sourced mean at HBE? 

Willing sellers, fair compensation, verifiable chain-of-custody, and transparent labeling.

Can virgin hair be lightened or single-processed?

Yes—treat like bio hair. Every ponytail has its own history, so strand test; timing and lift can differ from your client’s natural hair.

How many installs can one ponytail cover? 

Plan by grams and density: based on a case study of 5 ktip only artists who provide ktip installs exclusively and focus on hair health and density match.

• 20–40 g for volume
• 40–80 g for length
• 80–120 g for lengthening very dense clients

A ponytail can span multiple installs, earning back your investment after the first one.

All gram weights will vary (each client is unique and their needs are as well)

Returns / refunds?

All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges.

Bulk vs hand-bonded—what should I choose?

Bulk if you prefer in-house prep, and want to mix textures and color. Hand-bonded if you want pro-prepped K-Tips to spec.

Can I rebond and reuse?

Yes, if that is the type of service you wish to offer. The hair can always be removed and re-encapsulated. Factor in time/labor; it’s not always a money saver.

Can my clients heat-style the hair?

Absolutely, like we mentioned, treat it like bio hair, feel free to wave, curl, and straighten the extensions as much as your heart desires. Don’t forget, like bio hair, split ends with excessive heat styling is always a risk.
